Classes Involved with the Lab
All Cal Poly Child Development students are required to take several classes involved with the Preschool Learning Lab.
CD 131
Observing and Interacting with Children. Observation methods and guidance techniques for adults working with children in family, community, and educational settings.
CD 230
Preschool Laboratory. Preliminary teaching experience with children in a preschool laboratory setting. Participant planning, execution and evaluation of age-appropriate activities. Observation is used as the basis for planning for the development of the whole child.
